On this page we will keep track of improvements we would like to see incorporated into Revit Architecture. We will do our best to put this list directly in the hands of the Revit Architecture product development team. At the moment the items are in no specific order. When time comes we will create a poll to determine our top ten list.
Massing Conversions - It would be great to be able to convert masses into other types of building elements (such as generic models)
Embedded Walls - Wrapping needs to be enabled for scenario when you embed a curtain wall into another wall.
Link to other object types in tags and schedules - As an example, when creating a room finish schedule it would be great to be able to link the ceiling and extract its type or material. Same is true for floors.
View Tag Text - Ability to control opaque\transparecy of text within view tags such as interior elevations.
Elevation Tags - For both interior and exterior elevation tags we are limited to square and/or circular shapes. It would be nice to create custom graphics.
Views and Viewports - Irregular Shapes!!
View Control - When creating custom families it would be nice to have more control of visibility of symbolic linework so you could have lines show in plan, but not in RCP.
Design Options - Walls in main model need to clean up with walls in secondary options.
